M Oliur Rahman

Dr. M Oliur Rahman is working as a Professor in the Department of Botany, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prior to join the University he served for Bangladesh National Herbarium as Senior Scientific Officer. He received his Ph.D. form Hiroshima University in 2003 on molecular systematics and cytotaxonomy of the carnivorous genus Utricularia. Because of his outstanding academic performance, he has received many prestigious awards and honours some of which include Gold Medal Award; Golden Jubilee Award; Vice-Chancellor’s Award; Dean’s Honours Award, and Monbusho Scholarship by Japan Government. He has published more than 95 research papers in peer reviewed prestigious international and national journals including some Books from Lambert Publishing, Germany. He has made significant contribution in preparing National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) and the Updating and Mainstreaming of the NBSAP for the Government of Bangladesh; Medicinal Plants Protection Act, Bangladesh; National Action Program (NAP) for Combating Desertification in Bangladesh under United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD); Red Data Book of Vascular Plants of Bangladesh; Encyclopedia of Flora and Fauna of Bangladesh. He has served as the Editor of Bangladesh Journal of Plant Taxonomy (Clarivate Analytics) from 2010-2017 and as the Chief Editor of the journal in 2018, Fellow of the Linnean Society of London, Members of several professional organizations at home and abroad, and reviewer of several international journals. Professor Rahman received several modern advanced trainings including Genomics and Proteomics, Plant Genetic Transformation, In-situ Hybridization and Bioinformatics Lab and Data Management Protocols for DNA Barcoding, Online Journal Publishing workshop sponsored by International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP), Modern Techniques of Plant Taxonomy and Botanical Research And Herbarium Management System (BRAHMS). Very recently, he attended the “2018 International Conference on the Pharmacology of Traditional Medicine of the Belt and Road Initiatives” in Beijing, China in May 2018 as an INVITED SPEAKER and joined the “3rd World Congress on Medicinal Plants and Natural Products Research’ in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in October 2017 as the KEYNOTE SPEAKER.

Mohamed Eddouks

Moulay Ismail University, Morocco

Mohamed Eddouks is Professor at Moulay Ismail University, Faculty of Sciences and Techniques Errachidia, Morocco. He is a researcher in Physiology and Pharmacology with a Master Degree in Metabolic and Molecular Endocrinology from University of Paris vi, a specialized certificate in Endocrine Pharmacology from University of Paris vii and PhD degrees in Physiology and Pharmacology from University of Liege, Belgium and Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University, Fez, Morocco. After his post-doctoral fellowship at Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine of Montreal, Canada, he is working for the last 16 years on medicinal plants. His work on antidiabetic and antihypertensive plants is well recognized globally. His research focuses on ethnobiological as well as pharmacological issues in the use of Moroccan medicinal plants for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, obesity and hypertension. His contribution to this field includes four international books and more than 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters of international repute. He served as Guest Editor and Member of Editorial Board of several international journals. He has been honored with the first Prize of Scientific Research in 2008 by the Moroccan Association of Research and Development and the first Prize of the Federation of Arab Scientific Councils in 2016. He has been the founding Dean of Polydisciplinary Faculty of Errachidia from 2008 to 2012.

Mohamed El-Esawi

Dr. Mohamed El-Esawi is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology and Genetics at Botany Department of Faculty of Science at Tanta University in Egypt. He has received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Tanta University in Egypt, and his PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology from Dublin Institute of Technology, Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin) in Ireland. Afterwards, Dr. El-Esawi joined the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Sorbonne (Pierre and Marie Curie-UPMC) in France as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Following those positions, Dr. El-Esawi joined the Division of Crop Biotechnics of KU Leuven in Belgium as a Research Fellow. Then, he joined the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom as a Visiting Research Fellow. Dr. El-Esawi is very interested in Genetics, Genomics, Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, Molecular Plant Physiology, Developmental Biology, Plant-Microbe Interaction, Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics. He has given numerous talks and participated at more than 55 conferences, meetings, and workshops in highly regarded institutions nationally and internationally. He has received several awards and grants from international organizations including DAFF, ASRT, IRO, COST.

Zeinab Abdel Aziz Kasemy

She completed Master degree in Public Health and Community Medicine " Epidemiology of Neonatal Hypothyroidism in Menoufia Governorate" in 2009and MD degree in Public Health and Community Medicine " Epidemiology of Chronic Kidney disease in an Egyptian village" in 2013.

Venkata N Joshi

Dr. Venkata N Joshi is a 1980's graduate of Ayurveda from Osmania University, Hyderabad India. He has completed his Ayurveda studies with a Master's degree (M D in Ayurveda) and also Ph.D. from Gujarat Ayurveda University, Jamnagar, India. He established Shanti Devi Nature Cure Ashram, Bhadrapur, Jhapa on 2034. Nepal Yoga and Nature Cure Association, at Biratnagar on 2040 Bs."Nature Cure Research & Teaching Hospital "at Kathmandu Kalimati on 2053. Institute of Natural Medicine at Kathmandu on 2056 Bs. to continue the said purpose ahead. Dr.Karki prepared the curriculum & the course book for Lower Secondary school and secondary level Collaboration with Curriculum Department of Nepal government.

In the same way, he wrote and developed various Curriculum of Yoga and Naturopathy Sciences joint collaboration with the Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (CTEVT) on 2054 BS. Dr. Karki has been awarded more degrees from different colleges & Universities around the world. He successfully held on first Conference on Yoga and Naturopathy on 2046, Bs at Biratnagar. Anukul Chandra Kar

Dr. A. C Kar is a Professor in the Department of Vikriti Vigyan at Banaras Hindu University. He received his MD (Ayurveda) degree in Kayachikitsa (Vikriti Vigyan) in 1995 and Ph.D. Degree in 2000 from Banaras Hindu University. He had served the Department as Senior Resident from 1996-1999 and later joined in Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), New Delhi and worked there in various capacities. He left CCRAS while working as Assistant Director (Ayurveda) in 2007. Then he joined as a Reader in Dept of Vikriti Vigyan in Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University and became Associate Professor in 2010 and Professor in 2013. He is now presently Head of Department since Dec 2015. He is having 22 Years of Experience in the field of Research and Teaching in Ayurveda. His Area of Expertise includes: Ayurvedic diagnosis, Prognostic aspects of diseases, Validation of Ancient Prognostic techniques etc. He has published more than 75 Scientific and Research papers in reputed International and National Journals. He is the author of a book "Parasitology in Ayurveda" and Editor of the book "Gambhira Vyadi Nidan Chikitsa" and recipient of "Dhanwantari Award" in 2012 awarded by "Odisha Ayurveda seva Sansthan"

Mahmoud YM Taha (BVMS, MSc, Ph.D., Ml. Biol, DcPath is a graduate of Baghdad Vet. Medical college 1979. Then he obtained MSc degree in Virology. After that, he trained on Diagnostic virology in Rasheed Military Hospital. In 1984 he became a member of the scientific staff of Dental College, Mosul University. In 1990 he obtained his Ph.D. degree in virology from Glasgow University and appointed as Dean Assistant for scientific research in Dental College, then appointed as Head Department of Dental Basic Science and Director of Diagnostic lab in the Dental Hospital, Mosul University. He has published more than 50 papers and supervised MSc and Ph.D. students in the field of virology and oral microbiology. Prof. Taha is a member of Editorial Board of many journals in virology and Dental Sciences. Prof. Taha has published many books in the field of Oral Microbiology and Virology.
